Initially we stayed at the Place hotel (to dry out). This place was cool, used in the film “Pricilla”, it has charm dripping of the walls in the form of colourful mural – on every panel. However, kids hated it – Max kept asking “how many stars is this place?”, I think if it’s less than one, then they don’t count. We moved to the Lakeside Caravan Park to dry out the trailer....they say f$%kin a lot at the Lakeside Caravan Park .
Did another mine trip at “Daydream mine”, on the way to Silverton. The workers were eight to ten year old boys who dug out the silver ore...You needed young eyes to see the native silver by the candle light….tough gig.
Great to hear how the trip is going guys. Very funny monlogue. You should let the boys write a day as after Max's comment on the star rating (or lack of) the hotel I would love to find out more of what they're thinking.
